Get ready to swap your gently used clothing, shoes, accessories and novelties with others in the community. This is a great opportunity to refresh your wardrobe without spending a dime.
Bring 5 items to trade and leave with some new-to-you pieces to elevate your style game.
(this is not a place for you to sell your items, just swap them)
Check out @streetsmarttailoring @conceptualcconsumerism & @dcgoodwill for upcycling ideas, tailoring info and local styles. Don't miss out on this fun and sustainable way to update your look.
See you there!
PLEASE NOTE : We encourage you to wear something you've received from a previous SwapDC event. This is not a swap, so please hold off on the clothing donations for our October swap.
At SwapDC, we believe in the power of collective action to make a positive impact. This in-person event provides an opportunity for individuals to come together and contribute to our planet's well-being while support our efforts toward a positive change.
Whether you're passionate about our environment, social justice or simply spreading kindness, this event is for you! You can engage in hands-on projects, connect with other local organizations, or simply come to show off an outfit you've got from a SwapDC event.
By participating in the Give Back, you'll not only make a difference but also have the opportunity to meet the SwapDC team, support the 2024 goals and learn about our journey.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect, make an impact, and have a memorable evening.
